Michele Guido (Aradeo, Le - 1976); lives and works in Milan.
In 1997 he moved to Milan to study at the AABB of Brera, he graduated in 2002 and the following year he attended a master's degree in Landscape Design; at the same time, in 1999 he was selected for a residency/study at the T.A.M. Centre directed by Eliseo Mattiacci. From 2001 to 2007, he has a studio at the Casa degli Artisti in Milan, where he organizes with J. de Sanna and H. Nagasawa: "Discussione Aperta: il Concetto di MA", which in the Eastern world indicates a passage, an interval of space-time. These elements have a decisive influence on the genesis of his work; hence the section of the plant elements, the stratification of the drawing in order to obtain the modular element that belongs to the genetic system of plants.
The multidisciplinary investigations are developed with more complex projects called "garden projects" based on the formal analogies between the plant world and scientific research, the geographical origin of plants and the relationship with the culture of those places, biodiversity, etc..

"In recent times his work path has become more precise around the theme of the garden as a moment that combines the natural element with the mental imprint.
Through different media and materials, he creates works in which emerges the relationship between architecture, history and images of nature". (Laura Cherubini)
